WKH ushers in a new chapter

WKH this week announced its refreshed identity—refocused, reinvigorated, and resolutely committed to delivering exceptional legal services. The law firm will now operate under the simplified name WKH, short for Dr Weder, Kruger and Haikali Inc, and WKH Inc.

The evolution, the firm explained, reflects more than a change in name—it marks a renewed vision that honours our legacy while embracing the future. “Our team of directors and associates remains steadfast in upholding the highest standards of professionalism, continuity and client care.”

André Swanepoel and Tshuka Luvindao will serve as co-managing directors for a 12-month term beginning 1 September 2025 through 31 August 2026. Thereafter, Luvindao will assume the role of MD, while Swanepoel will continue to serve WKH as senior director and conveyancer.

“This leadership change follows a period of transformational growth, marked by both challenges and rewarding milestones. Under Andre Swanepoel’s leadership, the firm has since 2006 expanded significantly, adding nearly 20 legal practitioners and 4 offices, Today, WKH proudly boasts 33 lawyers across 5 offices nationwide, led by the following office heads; in Ongwediva, Veronica Haikali, in Swakopmund, Beatrix Greyvenstein, in Walvis Bay, Liza Martins, and in Grootfontein, Willem Visser.

“Looking ahead, our focus remains on delivering exceptional service to our clients, capitalising on the opportunities presented by our expansion, and fostering a collaborative and collegial culture across the firm,” WKH said.

“WKH’s core strength has always been its ability to meet the needs and advance the goals of our clients—particularly in property transactions, M&A, and litigation in both the lower and higher courts of Namibia. Our new leadership team is deeply committed to nurturing a culture of teamwork across practices, industries, and offices, and to continuing the tradition of excellence our clients have come to expect,” it added.

WKH said it will continue to uphold the standards it is known for.

“We promise to remain grounded in our Firm’s proud legacy while embracing innovation, collaboration, and an uncompromising commitment to legal excellence. As the Namibian economy evolves and the legal landscape shifts with it, WKH recommits to its mission and pushes forward to remain a leader across all market segments.”
