Call for nominations: Agricultural Woman of the Year
The Namibia Agricultural Union (NAU) calls for nominations for the Agricultural Woman of the Year 2025 Award, which recognises women who have made outstanding contributions to both the agricultural sector and their communities.
The award celebrates women who demonstrate leadership, dedication and innovation in areas such as farm management, training initiatives, conservation, community upliftment and industry leadership. Through this recognition, the NAU aims to highlight individuals whose efforts inspire others and leave a lasting impact on agriculture and society.
Last year’s award went to Annette Kotze, secretary of the Okahandja Farmers’ Association.
The NAU extends its thanks to Old Mutual Namibia, which contributed N$10 000 towards the award.
To nominate a candidate, submit your nominee's name, contact details and a short motivation (maximum one page), including specific examples of her contributions. Nominations should be sent to Tanja Dahl at nau@nau.com.na
