• Exchange of Influencers and Media: Media delegations and social media influencers will be exchanged to generate greater awareness and fresh narratives around each country’s tourism offerings.
• Information & Statistics Sharing: NTB and ASITA Bali will exchange key data, reports, and promotional materials to support tourism development and planning.
• Mutual Tour Development: Both Parties aim to create collaborative tour packages that combine unique experiences from Namibia and Bali, enhancing cross-cultural travel opportunities.
• Sustainable and Social Responsibility Projects: In line with global tourism trends, the MoU encourages initiatives that promote environmental and community engagement.
• Private Sector Participation: Tourism stakeholders and businesses will be encouraged to participate in exhibitions, conferences, and festivals hosted in both countries.
• Capacity Building: Training programs and knowledge-sharing sessions led by tourism professionals will be supported under the partnership.
This MoU is designed to be flexible, allowing for additional areas of cooperation to be added upon mutual agreement. It imposes no financial obligations in its current form and will remain in effect until amended or terminated by either party.
Speaking on the occasion, Chicalu, CEO of the Namibia Tourism Board the partnership is a strategic step forward in diversifying markets and establishing Namibia as a must-visit destination for Asian travellers. “We are excited about the opportunity to share our landscapes, heritage, and hospitality with Bali’s thriving travel market,” CHicalu said.
