Standard Bank Namibia appoints Elzita Beukes, marketing head
Standard Bank Namibia has appointed Elzita Beukes as Executive: Marketing and Branding, effective 1 July 2026.
Beukes, who moves up from Senior Manager: Public Relations and Communication, will join the bank’s executive committee and lead marketing, branding and customer engagement initiatives. Her promotion follows the bank’s drive to sharpen its market presence and communications.
She brings more than 15 years’ experience across marketing, communications and reputation management in the banking, corporate and development sectors. Her work has focused on integrated marketing strategies, executive positioning and stakeholder relations.
Beukes holds a Master’s in Marketing and Innovation from the London School of Marketing, a Bachelor of Journalism from Rhodes University and a postgraduate qualification in International Cooperation from the United Nations University in Tokyo.
“I am honoured to take on this role at a time when the banking sector is evolving rapidly,” Beukes said. “I look forward to working with the team to strengthen how we connect with our clients and to support the bank’s growth priorities.”
