Nominees announced for MTC Branding Awards
The inaugural MTC Branding and Marketing Excellence Awards have announced the nominees across various categories, setting the stage for a ceremony dedicated to celebrating creativity, innovation, and impact within Namibia’s branding and marketing industry.
The awards received a total of 109 entries, with 44 selected as nominees across 15 categories. Each category features three nominees, with the exception of the Best TV Commercial of the Year, which has two.
MTC’s chief brand officer, Tim Ekandjo, emphasised the integrity and rigour of the selection process.
“All entries were vetted by an independent panel of judges through a research-led evaluation process,” Ekandjo said. He added that, prior to nomination, each entry was assessed on merit-based criteria such as innovation, creativity, market impact, and contribution to industry growth.
Two categories—the People’s Brand of the Year (currently open for public voting) and Best Exhibitor Stand—remain open. The nominees and winners for these categories will be announced on the night of the ceremony.
The MTC Branding and Marketing Excellence Awards aim to establish a new benchmark for industry excellence by recognising brands and professionals who are pushing boundaries and delivering meaningful impact.
The highly anticipated awards ceremony will take place on 10 April 2026 at the MTC Branding & Marketing Indaba Gala Dinner, held at the Windhoek Country Club Resort. The event will bring together industry leaders, creatives, and key stakeholders to honour excellence within Namibia’s dynamic marketing landscape.
