FNB Namibia taps Bolla Hans for public sector role
FNB Namibia Commercial has named Bolle Hans as its new Head of Public Sector Banking, effective 1 May 2026, as the bank moves to place dedicated leadership over a segment it describes as a strategic priority.
Hans brings 31 years of experience within the FirstRand Namibia Group to the role, with a career spanning Retail, Corporate, and Private Banking. He most recently served in the bank's Ultra-High Net Worth Private Banking division.
FNB Commercial CEO Philip Chapman said the appointment forms part of a broader repositioning of the bank's Commercial segment.
"Public Sector Banking is a strategic priority for our business, and appointing dedicated leadership in this area is critical," Chapman said.
Hans will oversee public sector clients and non-governmental organisations, with responsibility for growing relationships, cross-divisional collaboration, and service delivery across those accounts.
He holds executive development qualifications from the University of Stellenbosch Business School and is an alumnus of both the African Leadership Institute and the FNB Commercial RM Academy.
