Namfisa announces executive appointments
Financial regulator announced the appointments of Gloria Heita as its Change Management Specialist effective 2 December 2024, as well as Abel Sindano as the general manager
for Research, Policy, and Statistics, effective from 1 November 2024.
Heita brings a wealth of expertise to Namfisa, with a career spanning multiple leading organisations, including Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, Namdeb Diamond Corporation, and Anglo-American. Her professional journey has equipped her with extensive experience in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Project Management, Leadership
Development, and Change Management. Sindano brings over 20 years of professional experience to Namfisa, including a distinguished career as the Executive: Economic Statistics at the Namibia Statistics Agency, where he oversaw the production of economic statistics, the regulator said.
An alumnus of the University of Namibia (UNAM), Heita majored in Industrial Psychology, gaining a strong foundation in Human Resources and Change Management.

Sindano brings over 20 years of professional experience to Namfisa, including a distinguished career as the Executive: Economic Statistics at the Namibia Statistics Agency,

He holds a Master of Science in Economics and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Namibia (UNAM). His extensive expertise and leadership acumen position him to
make significant contributions to Namfisa's mission of fostering a safe, stable, and fair financial system that supports Namibia's economic development while protecting consumers.
