Old Mutual Namibia concludes 2025 Employee Roadshow
Old Mutual Namibia recently successfully concluded its 2025 Employee Roadshow celebrated under the theme 'Own Your Impact', which reached out to hundreds of employees across the country and made a positive mark in communities along the way.
Over 3 500 kilometres, the Executive Leadership Team embarked on a tour of ten towns, namely Windhoek, Okahandja, Keetmanshoop, Mariental, Grootfontein, Otjiwarongo, Rundu, Walvis Bay/Swakopmund, Ondangwa, and Lüderitz, with interactive sessions with staff who travelled in from surrounding towns as well.
This year's roadshow aimed to encourage every team member to value themselves, take responsibility, and drive excellence in service delivery, customer experience, and purpose-driven leadership. All sessions offered a forum for open discussions, strategy alignment, and establishing team unity through all levels of the business.
In addition to inspiring staff, the Executive Team also employed the journey to give back to the communities encountered en route. Soccer balls were distributed to children in various towns, creating joyful moments that speak to Old Mutual Namibia's continued capacity to make a positive impact beyond business.
"Not only was this year's roadshow a trip around the country, but it was also a trip to the heart of what we are as Old Mutual Namibia," said Group Human Capital Executive Ramona Itembu. "The passion, creativity, and individual stories we witnessed confirmed our people's strong commitment to their work and to the customers they serve." 'Own Your Impact' is more than a theme; it's a way of thinking that we are excited to see catch on across our business."
Through Old Mutual Namibia's future vision, the learning and connections that have been established through the roadshow will serve as a critical milestone in guiding future plans, building talent, and ongoing building of an environment where all employees know and own the impact they create.
