Supporting Namibia’s economic resilience
A robust foreign exchange sector is vital for Namibia's economic stability, particularly for industries such as mining, agriculture, and logistics that rely on international trade. Ian Erlank, the head of global markets at RMB Namibia, stated that the award reflects the group's commitment to customer-centric solutions that safeguard value in a complex global market.
"Effective foreign exchange (FX) solutions enable businesses to pay for goods abroad, facilitate tourism, and unlock international investment," Erlank said. He added that the award is a testament to the expertise of the FNB and RMB teams in enabling seamless financial activity across borders.
