Biomass Fair seeks support for 2026 event

Organisers of the Standard Bank Biomass Fair 2026 have called on businesses and stakeholders to come on board as strategic sponsors for this year’s event, which is aimed at advancing Namibia’s growing bush biomass sector.

The biannual event is scheduled to take place from 6 to 8 August 2026 in Otjiwarongo, regarded as the hub of Namibia’s biomass industry.

According to the organising committee, the three-day programme will feature a biomass conference, networking event and industry expo, all designed to promote growth and investment in the bush biomass sector in Namibia and the wider region.

The event has already secured diamond sponsorship from Standard Bank Namibia, with additional sponsorship opportunities still available across lower-tier categories.

The biomass conference is expected to be hosted at a conference venue in Otjiwarongo, followed by a networking event. The expo will take place at the Sekelbos/TOPS terrain on the road to the Otjiwarongo smallholdings.

Organisers say the sponsorship packages are intended to provide companies with branding, visibility and networking opportunities, while also positioning sponsors as contributors to sustainable development and the expansion of the biomass industry.

The committee added that sponsorship packages can be tailored to align with the objectives and requirements of participating organisations.

Interested sponsors have been encouraged to submit formal expressions of interest to the organisers.

For enquiries, stakeholders can contact Julian Nakanyala, Knowledge Management and Communications Officer at the Namibia Biomass Industry Group.
