Ace Golf Day tees off for a cause

The Windhoek Country Club was abuzz with purpose and precision on Thursday, 26 June, as the inaugural Annual Ace Golf Day brought together corporate teams, golf enthusiasts and philanthropists in support of the African Child Development Trust (ACDT).

The inaugural event drew 21 teams to the green, rallying under the banner of education. The competition culminated with Vivo Energy Namibia, Old Mutual, Williams & Knight Insurance, Kasi Gold, and Louis Breytenbach emerging as the day’s top five winners.

More than just a day of golf, the Ace Golf Day championed early childhood development, with proceeds committed to creating and distributing curriculum-aligned books for Grade 0 to 3 learners across Namibia, a vital investment in the country’s educational foundation.

The day was made possible through a formidable line-up of sponsors and partners, including Power Line Africa, Afriwallet, Enjoy Travel Namibia, Synergi Group (Creative, Marketing, Events, Impact, and Chatbot), Shell, Bartsch Architecton, Giant Bicycles, MyEticket, and many others. Media support was led by NTV, Namibian Sun, Republikein, Allgemeine Zeitung and Sportswrap.

Network Media Hub captured these moments at the event’s prize-giving ceremony.
