Miss Face of Namibia unveils top 15 contestants

Miss Face of Namibia unveiled its top 15 contestants on Saturday at Wanderers Stadium in Windhoek, ahead of the grand finale scheduled for 7 November.

The event also featured a costume showcase under the theme Namibia Reimagined, with contestants presenting designs inspired by the country’s beauty, wildlife, landscapes and heritage.

Founder and director Marchell Coetzee said the showcase aimed to celebrate Namibia through creativity, fashion and storytelling.

“The theme, Namibia Reimagined, challenged our designers to look at Namibia from a different perspective and bring our country’s beauty, wildlife, landscapes and heritage to life through futuristic costume designs,” he said.

The event featured a judging panel comprising former contestants and titleholders Taikeisha Resandt (2023 winner), Erika Kazombaruru (2020 fourth runner-up), Shahida Van Zyl (2019 winner) and Angela Hangula (2020 winner).
