First Spouse appointed as patron of Youth Forum
First Spouse, General (retired) Denga Ndaitwah, this week officially accepted the role of Patron for the Namibia Youth Energy Forum (NYEF).
The endorsement from the Office of the First Spouse and the Office of the President signals a national commitment to placing young Namibians at the forefront of the country’s energy transformation.
“This is more than symbolic; it is a signal to every young Namibian that their voice matters, their ideas are valid, and their leadership is needed now. We are deeply honoured by this show of confidence from the highest office in the land,” said NYEF Advisory Chairperson, Miguel Hamutenya.
General Ndaitwah expressed his admiration for the initiative and drive of young Namibians, and emphasised his commitment to supporting platforms that foster national development.
