Acacia-Composites Manufacturing signs WPC decking distribution deal

Acacia-Composites Manufacturing, Africa’s only manufacturer of Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) decking, cladding, and battens, has signed a distribution agreement with Halsted Builders Express Zimbabwe, the market leader in construction and building supplies in Zimbabwe.

Following an introduction to Acacia-Composites Manufacturing’s products at WoodEX for Africa in Johannesburg earlier this year, Stuart Knight visited the manufacturing plant in Windhoek. He was impressed by the world-class quality of the product produced. As a result, the two companies have aligned to introduce Acacia’s WPC decking to the Zimbabwean market. The order of high-performance decking marks a significant milestone for Acacia’s expansion across Southern Africa.

“This partnership is an exciting step in our SADC growth,” said Eike Bolm, business manager at Acacia-Composites Manufacturing. “We are proud to bring Namibian-made WPC products to Zimbabwe through a trusted name like Halsted.”

Stuart Knight, CEO of Halsted Builders Express Zimbabwe, added: “WPC decking is exactly what our customers are asking for: durable, eco-conscious, and maintenance-free. Acacia-Composites Manufacturing is ahead of the curve in this space, and we’re proud to launch their range in Zimbabwe.”

This exclusive partnership, covering the Zimbabwean market, is a testament to the trust and shared vision between the two companies. It includes joint marketing efforts to ensure a successful nationwide product rollout and increased visibility.

Acacia-Composites Manufacturing’s WPC range, including decking, wall cladding, and battens, is not only designed but also engineered to withstand Africa’s harshest climates. It offers a perfect blend of modern design and sustainability, providing customers with peace of mind.
