After another month without an interest rate cut, sellers will need to make sure their home is as appealing as possible to attract a willing buyer.

“To lure viewers out of their homes when it’s cold and rainy, buyers need to ensure that their online listing is really enticing by posting high-quality photos and by mentioning all the extra features in the description. Working with a reputable real estate agent who knows how to reach and attract buyers will also be crucial in this regard.”

Add a welcome mat for viewers to wipe their shoes before entering your home. If there is space in the entryway, add a coat rack for buyers to hang any dripping jackets. For those without a fireplace, heat up your home with a gas or electric heater just before the buyers are scheduled to arrive.
